The Global reforest and permanent carbon dioxyde removal campaign

1.

Climate change and human-induced global warming are now undisputed and scientifically proven. Carbon dioxide from the combustion of fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas plays a decisive role. The very foundation of human life is threatened by unchecked global warming; only a reduction of CO₂ levels in the atmosphere can restore climate stability. The top priority must be a substantial reduction of CO₂ emissions. However, the goal cannot be reached without actively removing hard-to-avoid emissions

2.

By reforesting additional forests, CO₂ is captured from the atmosphere and stored in the wood. Climate Balance plants its own trees and ensures that the resulting forests are cared for throughout their entire lifetimes and managed sustainably. Unfortunately, even wood used in long-term construction eventually releases CO₂ back into the atmosphere through decay or burning. This means that, at best, only climate neutrality can be achieved. Planting trees alone is not enough to limit climate change.

3.

By sinking our trees into the abyssal deep-sea sediment, CO₂ can be stored permanently. Examples of sunken wooden ships demonstrate carbon storage for well over 1,000 years. Climate Balance creates long-lasting negative emissions in a resource-efficient way.
